4 Key Sectors

Tourism and Hospitality:
Encourage Indigenous peoples to thrive and share their culture, while generating significant economic benefits. This industry helps raise awareness of Indigenous history and provides opportunities to highlight Indigenous artisans. As this emerging industry continues to experience steady growth over several years, it is essential to strengthen Indigenous participation and community involvement through accelerated financial and managerial support.

Construction:
Promote equitable Indigenous participation so that the profits generated by the construction industry create greater positive economic impacts within Indigenous communities, and so that both the number of Indigenous entrepreneurs and the size of Indigenous-owned construction businesses continue to grow.

Service Providers for Natural Resources:
Support entrepreneurs to ensure that the wealth generated from economic activities related to natural resource development is redistributed fairly among targeted communities and contributes to reconciliation.

Renewable Energy:
Support Indigenous participation in renewable energy projects by providing financial assistance to those working to advance reconciliation. For decades, this industry has affected Indigenous communities, as most projects are located on their territories.

And a strategic envelope for other structuring projects that have a significant positive impact on Indigenous communities.
